You will normally be expected to have completed the qualification within two years before starting your course at Sussex.
If the qualification was obtained earlier than this, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate that you have maintained a good level of English, for example by living in an English-speaking country or working in an occupation that required you to use English regularly and to a high level.
You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
